Every year we set a themed painting challenge which is judged at our AGM.  The winner takes home the 'John Grimshaw Award'.  The late John Grimshaw's relative, Susan very kindly made a donation to our group for an award in his name. John loved to paint horses and to honour John's memory, we have had a trophy engraved in his memory.  The trophy is awarded to the winner of our annual competition (this year's theme was 'water'). 🏆
